The Sporty Thievz site once included a merchandise section built around T-shirts. This page describes the designs shown, for fans and for anyone curious about how an independent hip hop act extended its brand. The shop is not active, and nothing is for sale through this site.
Each design used slogans that echoed the group’s songs and humour. The archived capture listed these families:
Every item followed the same simple pattern: a white shirt with a single contrasting colour for the artwork. The “No-Nonsense” label on the product names suggests a single clothing line with a shared attitude, aimed at both men and women.
The No Birdz slogan echoes No Pigeons, the answer record to TLC’s No Scrubs. Read more about it in the No Pigeons article. King Kirk has also spoken about designing clothing as part of his creative work, which you can read about in the art and music blog.
For the group’s recordings, see the music catalogue.
